I’ve been a full-time trainer for six years, but I started out as a group exercise instructor 16 years ago.
My training sessions focus on teaching proper technique. I do CrossFit myself, so functional movements are my specialty, but for my clients, I aim to strike a good balance between machine exercises and functional movements. My typical client is someone who is just starting to work out at the gym or returning after a break.
I like it when we train hard, but there’s still time for some banter. “Your laughter can be heard all the way to the gym” is something I’ve been told quite a few times.
