Hi there! I’m Jenna, a physical therapist and dance instructor. At EasyFit in Kemi, I offer one-on-one and small-group training sessions that don’t demand more from you—instead, they support your daily life and give you the tools you need to cope with everyday challenges. From my own journey with exercise and dance, I know what it feels like when movement feels painful, overwhelming, or unmotivating. That’s why I tailor my training sessions to fit each person’s current life situation. 

I’ve been working with the body and movement for about ten years through dance, exercise, laughter yoga, and relaxation sessions. My previous career as a gardener, which involved dealing with back pain, naturally made me realize how important it is to take care of my own well-being. As my curiosity grew, I ended up studying to become a physical therapist with the idea that I wanted to understand the functioning of the human body and mind more deeply and support people in achieving a more holistic sense of well-being. Based on my further education and professional interests, I can say that I’m focused on mental coaching and the role of exercise in supporting well-being—that is, how sleep, nutrition, and movement support mental resilience and nervous system balance.

Over the years, movement has been a way for me to recharge and rediscover myself—and dance (ranging from contemporary dance to reggaeton) has played a major role in this. In my body control, body awareness, and body weight training sessions, you’ll get a taste of dance-based technique exercises if you’d like, because dance combines fun and effectiveness! You can also come try these exercises in my “Dance Pulse” group class, where we practice dance techniques alongside a short choreography.
