Hey there! I'm Jenna, a physiotherapist and dance instructor. At EasyFit Kemi, I offer individual and small group coaching that doesn't demand more from you, but instead supports your daily life and gives you tools to cope with everyday challenges. From my own journey with exercise and dance, I know what it feels like when moving feels painful, burdensome, or unmotivating. That's why I build my coaching step-by-step, tailored to each person's life situation.
I've been working with embodiment and movement for about ten years through dance, training, laughter yoga, and relaxation guidance. My previous profession as a gardener, dealing with back pain, naturally made me realize how important it is to take care of yourself. As my curiosity grew, I ended up studying to become a physiotherapist with the idea that I wanted to understand the human body and mind more deeply, and to support people towards more holistic well-being. Based on my further training and professional interest, I can say that I've focused on psychological coaching and the importance of exercise in supporting well-being – meaning how sleep, nutrition, and movement support psychological stress and nervous system balance.
Movement has also been a way for me over the years to recover and rediscover myself – and dance (various styles from contemporary to reggaeton) has played a big part in that. In my body control, body awareness, and bodyweight coaching, you can even get a taste of dance-based technique exercises if you like, because dance combines fun and effectiveness! You can also come and try these exercises in my "Dance Pulse" group class, where we do dance-based techniques in addition to a short choreography.
