My diverse athletic background—ranging from ice hockey and soccer to martial arts, cycling, and running—has given me a broad foundation for understanding different types of training. Strength training has been a common thread throughout my journey, and in recent years I have focused particularly on combining it with endurance sports—especially running.

My training as a physical therapist has given me a strong foundation in biomechanics, the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, and exercise physiology. My focus on training and program design has built a solid foundation for coaching both strength and endurance training. Developing running technique and designing strength training programs to support it are my particular strengths.

As a trainer, I am calm and analytical. I can accurately assess movement and overall exertion, which helps me tailor the intensity of the workout to each client’s specific needs. It is important to me that my clients not only achieve concrete results from their workouts, but also experience a sense of accomplishment and the feeling that they are in control of their own progress.

In my coaching, I want to be a guide who helps you find your direction and creates the conditions for success—whether your goal is to improve your running fitness, build strength for everyday life, or discover the joy of exercise. I believe that when you do things thoughtfully and properly, you get results that show up both in your workouts and in your daily life.
