HYROX has quickly become super popular all over the world and is now taking over Finland too. We're an official licensed and trained HYROX training club, and you'll soon be among the first to give it a try!

What exactly is Hyrox?

HYROX is an innovative workout style that started in Germany. It's simple, effective, super addictive, and most importantly, it gets results!

HYROX is a super versatile guided workout that doesn't have any technically tricky moves. You can even compete if you want, which adds a fun extra kick to your training!

This workout is super intense because it really challenges your endurance, strength, athletic skills, and mental toughness, giving you a full-body challenge. But the best part about HYROX is that literally anyone can do the same workout, no matter their fitness level!

HYROX isn't just any sport – it's fun and tough, but also super rewarding, and anyone can easily join the classes. 

What are the workouts like and how do I prepare?

HYROX is awesome because it's perfect for everyone! It's still pretty new in Finland, so now's a fantastic time to come and try it out while it's fresh and exciting for all of us. Let's explore it together!

HYROX workouts mix running, rowing, and functional strength moves that many gym-goers already know. The sport itself is pretty straightforward, but the classes are never exactly the same! Different rhythms, sequences, and exercise variations keep your training fresh and fun. Endurance is key, and everyone can totally adjust their workout intensity. So, when you're just starting, 'running' can definitely mean walking! Because it's so versatile, this workout is great for anyone who loves functional training or endurance sports.

Our guided workouts are usually 60 minutes long. All you need to bring to class is some light, flexible workout clothes, indoor shoes, a water bottle, and a sweat towel. We've got everything else you need at the gym.

HYROX Foundation

This class is a mix of cardio, strength, and functional training. It's got just the right balance of everything to get your heart rate up and really challenge your endurance!

HYROX Power

Strength and power! This class is all about boosting your maximum performance and muscle endurance. There's less cardio in this one.

HYROX Complete

HYROX Complete brings together running and functional strength exercises. This workout really builds up your endurance, strength, and muscle stamina in many ways, and you can adjust the moves to fit any fitness level.

HYROX Mobility

Even a well-oiled machine needs some TLC. In this class, we keep your heart rate chill and focus on boosting your body's flexibility and how well it moves.

Can I join a Hyrox race?

A HYROX race is made up of eight specific exercises (or 'stations'), and you run 1 km before each one. The whole thing really tests your endurance, strength, and how fast you can switch between challenges. The race format is always the same, no matter where you compete in the world.

You can race solo, with a partner, or in a team, across different categories based on age and fitness level. HYROX is great for athletes of all levels, and lots of people find it's an awesome way to test both their endurance and strength.

So, what's the race like?

A HYROX race is made up of eight specific exercises (or 'stations'), and you run 1 km before each one. The whole thing really tests your endurance, strength, and how fast you can switch between challenges. The race format is always the same, no matter where you compete in the world:

  1. 1 km Run
    After each strength exercise, you'll run 1 km, adding up to a total of 8 km of running throughout the whole race.
  2. SkiErg 1 km
    Your first strength challenge is on the SkiErg machine, which is kind of like rowing but simulates skiing.
  3. Sled Push (50 m)
    Next up is the sled push, where you'll push a heavy sled 50 meters as fast as you can.
  4. Sled Pull (50 m)
    For the third part, you'll pull a sled 50 meters using a rope, which really tests your strength and endurance.

  5. Burpee Broad Jumps (80 m)
    Fourth, you'll do burpee broad jumps, combining a burpee with a long jump, for a total of 80 meters.
  6. Rowing (1 km)
    For the fifth part, you'll row 1 km on the rowing machine, which needs good technique and upper body strength.
  7. Farmer’s Carry (200 m)
    In the sixth section, you'll grab some heavy kettlebells and walk a total of 200 meters.
  8. Walking Lunges (100 m)
    The seventh strength exercise is walking lunges, where you'll carry a weight bag for extra challenge.
  9. Wall Balls (100 reps)
    For the grand finale, you'll do 100 wall ball throws, where you squat deep and then throw the ball against a wall.

HYROX workouts kick off at EasyFit Ruoholahti on September 1, 2025. Here's the initial class schedule:

Mon 6:30 PM–7:30 PM – Hyrox Complete


Tue 6:00 PM–7:00 PM – Hyrox Power


Tue 7:00 PM–8:00 PM – Hyrox Foundational


Wed 5:30 PM–6:30 PM – Hyrox Foundational


Wed 6:30 PM–7:30 PM – Hyrox Power


Thu 7:00 PM-8:00 PM – Hyrox Foundation


Sat 9:00 AM-10:00 AM – Hyrox Complete

How much does Hyrox cost?

You can join these classes as an EasyFit PREMIUM member or by paying a one-time fee.
