Our fitness centres have separate areas and equipment for training with free weights. Free weights refer to barbells and plates as well as dumbbells. The use of free weights requires training experience so that your movement techniques are safe and productive. It also requires more balance and coordination than the use of weight stack machines or leverage machines. If you want to include free weights into your training program, please feel free to consult your centre’s personal trainers.
